Montero Limited body molding
Hi all - new to the forum, picked up an 02 Montero Limited a few months ago and starting to work on things.
Has anyone been successful in repainting or touching up the lower body molding. Almost every piece of mine has some paint chips or scuffs that I'd like to touch up.
Thanks

Hi corbinh...i have an '01 montero limited and some lower mouldings on mine are chipped or scratched too. It's a 15 year old truck so i guess nobody expects it too look new. Anyway, my front bumpers was really faded when I got it so I resprayed it...hard to get a matching color from your auto supply store. I will say that my front bumpers doesn't match 100% from the rest of the body..but hey...it's good enough for me. If you really want a good job them have a professional do it.

Plenty of videos and tutorials on YouTube University, and Google Technical College on how to. I use them all the time. I am planning on painting my '05 all matte/flat black, in the process of buying a compressor, paint gun, etc. (Factory Metallic Memphis Blue/Gray Moulding Two Tone now)

I had to replace rear driver plastic bumper cover. Bought replacement from e-bay for same year vehicle but it was different color. My local autoparts store also specializes in auto paint. They were able to mix the matching color for my bumper and load it into special rattle cans. It was not expensive and was very easy to use.
