Ok so I have 2001 montero sport xls 3.5. Replaced the clutch solenoid valve earlier this year due to the flashing problem. All was well. Today I went to test out the four wheel drive before the upcoming winter and the 4x4 light does not come on at all. I tried Turning the key to the on position and still no luck. It does seem like the four is engaging as it should. But the light never blinks or comes on solid no matter what mode the 4x4 is in. Any ideas? I am thinking perhaps burnt out 4x4 light which seems unlikely. Also wanted to note that just recently the cruise control quit working. It will hold the speed when going up a hill but as soon as the car levels off or goes down hill, the cruise control will not accelerate the car any longer, it just coasts. Any help is greatly appreciated!
