So I got a 2002 Montero Sport XLS it's got the grinding noise like it's trying to go into 4 wheel drive but not quite so of course I think to myself it's got to be that Freewheel clutch vacuum solenoid. Well so I can get the part and then I go to installer the thing is that when I look where the party is supposed to be it's not there there's nothing coming off of my pumpkin in the front there's nothing off of the axle except that bleeder hose so I don't know how my four-wheel driving is trying to activate to be honest with you you know. So is it possible that there is an alternate location of the Freewheel clutch vacuum solenoid or an alternate system that doesn't include this or what am I in some episode of The Twilight Zone?
