Default Montero Sport Rear Coil Springs

I haven't been able to find an aftermarket Rear Coil Springs application for my 2001 Montero Sport, it may be a Dealer Item Only but if anybody has found a coil spring by Moog that fits my vehicle please let me know.

Thanks,
Mitsuba

Default rear coils

I have an 01 Sport 3.0 I have put coil over shocks front and back (had to figure length for my lift) had air bags n the rear and one blew so, I measured my coils and went to the local pull a part and found a set out of an older van that were just about the same circumference. I had to put them n 3 times and with a few cuts of the new and 1/4 coil off originals, I was able to spiral them together and fit seated well. I have about 3-4 inches of lift n rear and 3 in front with some heavy tortion bar tweeking...
So far so good! I'm running 33's have a magnaflo exhaust, cold air intake, K&N filter, and various other adds but it tows good doesn't sag with my 20' trailer...

Default re: rear coils

Sorry for being late on this topic, I had the same issue looking for rear coils. My local 4x4 shop had a set OEM coils off a 94 Toyota land cruiser, they are the same diameter, I had to cut the top ring because it was smaller, ended up with 4" lift.

I'm going to measure them and find a match from a Coil Springs Catalog that Moog emailed me.
Thanks for your response.

Default Rear coils and shocks

If you look up a company called Old Man Emu, they make coils shocks and torsion bars that will fit Monteros. I replaced mine over the winter and they are great. I got the medium duty coils and they are more than enough. This is the website that I got 4 shocks and the rear coils from. Mitsubishi Montero Lift Kit: OME Mitsubishi Pajero and Montero Lift Kit

Default Air Lift

I installed an Airlift air bags kit and solved my real coil springs problem...

Thanks for the LC coil info, to tell you the truth, my set up works great when I have a load or towing a trailer but empty, man it hits hard and jumps like a Jack rabbit I swear. I'm fixn soon.
how about the rear anti roll bar? With the lift you suppose it needs a longer or adjustable one?

I just re-used the same bar with no issues. It was sort of a pain to get back on tho. OME lift isn't that much higher. The springs are actually shorter but with less travel
