I have an 03 mitsubishi montero sport 3.5 I bought new only owner and love it. It has 236.000 miles and was running great then the transmission went south on it. I put off fixing it til I was able to find a low priced used one to use as a donor . I did the trans swap (p.s. I don't ever want to go there again...lol) started the truck and got a transmission sensor code found a wire connection not to be on all the way fixed. Then I got a multi cylinder misfire code after running for a couple minutes cleared code started again ran fine for 2 mins back on with the misfire code. Can the trans swap cause this misfire to keep coming up.
