I've got a 1991 Montero, and can't seem to figure out how to remove the cd player, any help (link or verbal description or anything) is greatly appreciated. It already has an aftermarket cd player but it's not working anymore.

Did this back in 1992, when I had a 1991 Monty. You have to take off the dash center plastic covers. Look for the bolts that hold it, they are easy to find. If you do a lot of DIY in your vehicle, Pep Boys/Autozone/NAPA/Advance, sell the manual for around $18.00.

 

Thanks for the quick reply, guangui. I'll look some more tomorrow, but are you saying that I need to remove the whole entire center dash assembly, or just the lower part?
