Hey guys, i'm wondering if you guys can help me out with some prices. I've been having a lot of problems with my tranny for awhile. Now i'm thinking about getting a new transmission. also i need to get a new Cat. I know there are i think 3 cats in the car, i have to get 2 of them replaced. Can anyone who has gotten either a new tranny or new cats tell me what they paid for them? I want to know what to expect so i don't get ripped off.

Might help to know the exact year and configuration (4x4, AWD, 2WD, 3.0, 3.5, Calif, Federal, etc.) of your Montero Sport. How many miles do you have on it? In CA the cats are covered by the 8/80 emissions warranty if you are the original owner.

 

I have a 2001 LS 3.0 4x4 and i have 127,000 miles on it. I am the original owner but i live in PA not CA.

 

I just got a quote for a used tranny with 70,000 miles on it. $1435installed.

What do you guys think?
