I included the 92 & 93 postings out of ignorance. I assumed they were essentially the same as the 91.

On further checking (www.mitsubishiparts.com) They list one factory part for '89-'91 and a different one for '92-'93.

Note: They also show two different part numbers for '91: Apparently the tanks are different for 2-door vs 4 door Monteros. Make sure you get the right one.

thanks ron. good to know. and yes, the 3.0 montero has a 24 gallon tank, the two doors is smaller. haven't heard back from any of the CL posts yet...we shall see.

 

As you said, there are a lot of places that sell accessories for '92 and up. This may or may not be another one but if not they may be able to point you in the right direction for older models. http://www.pajeroaccessories.co.uk/

Note that they're going out of business and/or selling the site. Maybe their prices are low enough to make up for shipping.

There are probably more sites like this in Japan but it will take some searching.
