Default Oil leak - rear cam seal

I've noticed an oil leak and it appears to be from the rear cam seal. From what I gathered on the internet, the o-ring needs to be replaced. Haven't really found any good information / instructions on how to do this. Appears to be fairly simple but not for sure. Guys on the internet says its a simple 15 minute job.

Have the gurus on here ever performed this before.

I have a 2003 Montero LTD.

Thanks in advance.

This is a pretty simple procedure. It does help if you have small hands . Make sure the engine is completely cool, because you have to reach all the way around the engine bank right up to the firewall. The camshaft cover is held by just two bolts (don't remember the size). All you have to do it so remove the bolts and wiggle out the cover. The o-ring will come out with it. Replace o-ring, put a little oil on it before sliding the cover back on. Re-attach two bolts and you are done. Look for the manual on the sticky manual discussion thread near the top of the page. It will make it easier to know what you are looking for. Good luck

Thanks, I figured while I'm doing the cam sensor I'll do the seals. Thanks. BTW the bolts for the cam seals are 12mm.
