Default Oil Pressure Gauge 99' Mitsubishi Montero
My oil pressure gauge stopped working. Before jumping into replacing the oil pump, I would like to rent a oil pressure gauge from a parts store and check actual pressure to make sure that it is not a failed oil pressure sending unit. Any advice on where the oil pressure sending unit is located on a 99' Mitsubishi Montero and how I should check the actual pressure?

On the back side of the block somewhere. Should be fairly obvious.
