Mitsubishi Montero & Montero Sport This sport utility vehicle offers more size than the other Mitsubishi SUVs, but manages to keep a sporty look and comfortable feel, unlike many larger SUVs.

97 Montero Sport LS 3.0

Hello everybody, I’ve been having this trouble code for two years already and it’s been giving me a headache. I’ve changed spark plugs, plug wires, moved the injectors around, and even the coils. It’s a brand new motor and I have taken it to two mechanics so far. I’m guessing I have a vacuum leak somewhere but I don’t know where,i do notice the LTFT go down to zero when I’m driving and the STFT also get close to zero. I changed the intake manifold gaskets upper and lower. I would appreciate the help from anybody I also took a picture of the fuel trims at idle. I have a high idle since I replaced the gaskets, maybe I didn’t line it up right?

If 1,400 RPM is your idle speed, figure that one out before diving into fuel trims. Something went south there (I mean idle speed).

Thank you I kinda had the idea already about it lol. It used to idle at around 750 but I changed the upper and lower intake manifold gaskets Wednesday so I pretty sure I didn’t line it up correctly so will pull it off again and double check everything. Hopefully I can solve this problem
