So i had a mitsubishi montero limited 2002 and i just bought a 2004. Thing is the 2004s compass display is tinted all blue with no other color and it looks really bad to me. Even the "white text" is tinted blue. I was going to switch it with the 2002 display which looks better with color but was worried id lose any new features. My question is are there any differences/extras/added features the 2004 display has that the 2002 doesnt that id lose from switching? I know one feature is that the 2004 can reset the "miles left" counter manually while the 2002 couldn't. Is there any other differences? Thanks in advance

Wish MM hadn't gone with the monochrome display after 2003. Really looked better.
How do you reset the "miles left" on the 2004 RV meter? Don't know how useful this would be, but still interesting.

 

If you switch the display to the one that shows you the miles left and then you hit the "adjust" button you get the option and it will recalibrate the miles left by going to 3 dashes and then displays the number of the new "miles left".
