Default question from a new 02 montero limited owner

I just purchased a 02 Montero limited. I'm not really a fan of the headlights or grill. Will the 03 grill and headlights fit? Thanks in advance.

Looking at pictures the only difference seems to be in appearance.. I would bet they will match up perfect.

I can live with the headlights but that grill is an eye sore. Anyone has confirmation if it's an actual fit? I would like to purchases one.

the black housing headlights on the 01-02 is a huge plus over 03+
you should see the trouble people go through just to get blackhousing headlights (not just montero) but other car makes.

The grill is the same, a lot of the exterior stuff will swap. I bet if someone wanted they can do a full 03+ conversion on an 01-02

Just a couple of clips on the corners and one in the middle then put your hand behind the grill and give it a tap outwards and it will pop right out. A word of the wise...ditch those clips and just zip tie it back.

Thanks. The confidence to apply a little brute force was all it took.
