Default Rear Seats Fold Forward?

I have a 2001 montero limited (with no owner's manual), and this may be a silly question but I know the third row seat folds into the rear storage, but do the back seats fold forward for more cargo space?

Default RE: Rear Seats Fold Forward?

Yes, they do.
1. find the seatack release on the backside of the seatack and push it up.
2. the seatback will now fold forward onto the seat
3. lift the release lever on the outside of the seat
4. lift the seat from the rear...i will pivot forward and lock.

to return the seats...
1. push the red plastic ring on the support strut forward to release the strut
2 carefully pivot seat back and latch to floor
3. find the seatack release on the backside of the seatack and push it up.
4. lift the seatback into position.
