Removing back bench seat from '91 Montero

Removing back bench seat from '91 Montero
Hi all!
I just bought a 1991 Montero and wondered if anyone has advice for removing the back bench seat. I have it folded down and tilted up against the front seats, but there doesn't seem to be a release mechanism from there. Just thought I'd ask before I go at it with a wrench.
I plan on taking them out permanently to build a camping platform/bed in the back, ideally removing the metal base rails also.
Any tips are appreciated!
