Default Restoring a family gen 2.5 Montero... Help

Hey y'all so im a new owner of a gen 2.5 that my dad bought almost brand new. It only has 78k miles and it's in decent shape other than some back end rust. I plan to wire brush and coat that later. I want to do a small lift, say 2 inches and some bigger wheels but I don't know how big I can go in terms of tires. I also wanted to maybe do a couple go fast mods but I have no idea whats available. 200 hrsprs isn't a lot 😂 I also can't figure out the code to my radio so if anyone's done a radio swap, will a 2006 Dodge charger radio fit? thanks in advance

Default Radio code

Just call the Mitsubishi owners line and they can give you your code and tell you how to set it.

Default Lift and tires

I think that the 2.5's were set up like the Gen 2 SR's, if so it has a factory 2 inch body lift and can take 33" tires right out of the box. If you need more lift than that (or if you have none), check out the Mitsubishi tech forum at 4x4 Wire and you will find detailed instructions on doing body lifts to these trucks. As far as suspension, you can crank your torsion bars for some lift in front, and get upper spring spacers for the back (spacers are a very undesirable method) or you can get OME springs and torsions for about 1 1/2" of suspension lift.
