Default restoring my headlights

okay, well i know it is possible with sanding and all that.. but i have the flakey cloudiness on the outside of my headlights, and i wanted to shine and clear them up. they are not yellow just kinda oxidized... and i can feel it.

i know there is a bunch of steps to wetsanding and buffing them to restore, but i tried to search and didnt really find anything. if you guys know the steps to do this and materials needed, it would be very appreciated. i figured it would give me something to do on my day off besides my oil change...

so you use the polish cleaner for your headlights..does it come in a bottle or in a mini tub thing? how much does that stuff cost? and do you you microfiber cloths?? or what... the flakiness is what worries me... do i just keep on rubbing and reapplying until it is all gone?

Autozone sells a cleaner made just for that purpose. I used it on the headlights on my gst and it cleared them wright up.

I tried the same stuff best is talking about, but it left a little haze. Thats when I decided to try the mag polish. Dont know why it works, but it does. You just gotta rub the hell out of it.
