Did you rub it hard.
Yea, I know that sounds stupid, but you think of a way to say that without making it sound sexual, lol.

Extra Cut Rubbing rubbing compound works like a dream as well put it with a high speed buffer or do it by hand, and lights look like new be careful if u stay in one spot for too long with a high speed buffer it will burn the lens. here is a link to some compond i use http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3...glGS2R1JV1KDbl

Get some 1500 or smoother buffing compound. Works best if you have a electric buffer. I use a foam pad and it took the flakey stuff off. Careful not to keep the buffer in one spot to long.

I did see the kit at the auto parts store with the drill adapter and compount made for headlights also.

this might sound stupid but ive tried some of the special buys at autozone, advanced.etcand none have worked for me..honestly i used brake fluid and scrubbed kinda hard with an old rough wash cloth and it came right off...note it does take some elbow grease..i heard that from my uncle who said he used it for the lights on his semi and it came right off..let me know what happens if anyone tries
