Awesome. It is very much possible that the fuel pump was weak and not providing enough fuel for the system. That's why PCM had to compensate by increasing fuel trims (LTFT). Did you happen to pull the fuel trims off the computer after replacing the pump? It would be helpful to see if they stabilized and are closer to 0s.
