Mitsubishi Montero & Montero Sport This sport utility vehicle offers more size than the other Mitsubishi SUVs, but manages to keep a sporty look and comfortable feel, unlike many larger SUVs.

I probably have to add that in case of the MAP sensor, the aftermarket replacement did not work for me. I had to go to OEM after about 2 month because I kept getting EGR problem code. Don't know how or why but the signal form aftermarket MAP was very noisy. Once I swapped to a new OEM sensor, the signal stabilized and the code cleared out. Do not have an explanation to this, except that my Monty is allergic to aftermarket parts

Hey everyone thanks for all the replys. I am just getting back to this issue and saw scannder danners video. I am going to run the tests. In his video he identifies the 02 montero sport bank 2 sensor 1 being the drivers side. Is this the case? I was under the impression that the bank 2 sensor 1 is on the passenger side. I have an 03 montero sport 3.0 2x4

Bank 2 is driver's side (US). Bank 1 is where the cylinder #1 is.

You can always unplug a sensor and see what new code comes up to find out the bank side !!!!
