Now we are getting some where--Baffled, Me too. But I think your most recent diagramm says it all -it has one 02 sensor before the cat and one after--but the guys who stole the cat prob cut that along with the cat--so I need to get this sucker up in the air and try to find the remnants of the second 02 sensor wire--then get a bung hole welded in after the cat. what fun!--then I can start on the egr codes and oil leaks--oh and the battery drain as well--did you say Car Loan? Lol.
Thanks for you patient help!!

bank 1 sensor 2 malfunction, and then bank1 sensor 2 heater malfunction--also getting p0400-egr but that's a seperate issue
was thinking that maybe its either not getting powered up --maybe damage to connector when they pulled wires loose

Both of these codes point to the same sensor. That's the good news. It's possible that couple of the wires just got connected wrong. I don't know if your new sensor was just plugged in, or if the shop had to install a new plug to replace what was cut/ripped out. It is also possible that in the prosess of stealing your cat converter, the thieves pulled on the harness, causing some additional damage to the wires somewhere further up, and that is what's throwing the codes.
