Default trouble installing intake on 3.0

Have 8 metal spacers about half inch thick and unsure of where they go. They look like stacked washers

Look here at Post 88
https://mitsubishiforum.com/forum/mi...l-48920/page9/

The manual has details on how to install these.
My thread Post 88 shows that I had metal gaskets at this location and there are tabs on the gaskets that need to be be oriented properly. I used FelPro Gasket Kit (I think I got it from Rock Auto)

The torque sequencing was odd but I attributed that to the special springs on the nuts. There are actually 5 passes for the bolt torque. I worked outward from the middle alternating as I went on each pass. Hope that makes sense. See attached where I marked it up A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H which gets you thru the end of the 2nd pass. Repeat process for passes 3 thru 5.

My experience is with a 3.5, not a 3.0 that you have, so take my experience with a grain of salt.
