HI Everyone I'm 23 yrs old and im not a millionare so any input on how to fix this right the first time would be a big help, especially since im a girl and every shop I try to go to they think I'm clueless .An update to my previous thread, after being able to work on things in the day time we were able to turn the crank shaft by hand UHOH !?!? My car still starts but it makes that rattling sort of weedwhacker noise, Has anyone else had this problem and how did you fix it ? would it be best to try to tighten down that bolt some more, which is loose ? or is there a way to replace them I've read about a lot pf manufacturer recalls where people had to have these replaced, also from the lack of pull my battery also drained last night .

 

what motor ??? 3.0 or 3.5

 

Its the 3.0 ls V6 I tightened the ac pulley because it was extremely loose and tightened down my balancer boplt, the engine is now quieter than it was before any issues, I havent had it die on me and I even took a 160 mile trip and made it there and back with no hiccups, big sigh of relief I'm hoping that I caught everything in time and somehow those things were just never tightened down properly, any insight is very much welcomed though since as we all know these cars are not fun to work on !
