Default Where does this connect to?

Hi I was taking apart my radio and center console on my 1999 mitsubishi montero and when I'm about to put it back together, I found this plug. It looks like a beefed up version of a co axle cable. whats wondering if you guys can help me out on what it is and where it goes. Pic is on the attachments, thanks guys for the help.

Looks like a CB antenna plug.

Interesting. I have a '91 and I just re-did the whole audio system. I have a huge fist sized tangle of cables that has something similar to a CB antennae and other stuff that is pretty useless to me on the end. What's up with that? Lol.

Some after market antenna were combination AM/FM/CB, you might have something like that.

yeah I was wondering if it connected to something important. I put my dash back together and just taped off the end so it won't short anything. Thanks Guys!
