Who's got the oldest Montero?
OK, gang, I'm wondering who's got the oldest living Montero out there in Forumland?
It sure as heck ain't me; my beast left the shores of Japan in September 1994 and sold as a 1995 North American model. So who can top that?

Look at the doorjam sticker for the date of manufacture — yours could have been slapped together in 2000. And yes, my beast has 175,xxx + on the clock lol....so you've definitely got me beat there!

Keeping the old mean aggressive exterior with the steel fram. With a new clean interior. Chat with you all later.

1991 Mitsubishi Montero RS 4x4 stock 3.0L V6 i believe stock axles and dif and the 4 speed auto trans. pretty sure they are not limited slip though. It has been a fun ride, had the engine and the trans rebuilt back in 2004, put 170,000 miles on it since.
Ding, ding, ding, I think I move to first place, just bought a one owner 1989 in NC with only 82,600 miles on it. Had it delivered last week. Actually it is a Dodge Raider the two door rebadged version. I have wanted one for awhile just had to find the right one.
Actually I have the oldest Montero, a 1987. Bought her from a friend with 275,000 miles 2.6 liter I4 with a 5 speed and not running, but now she runs and i just pull trees with her in my back yard. Hopping to get enough money for an Old Man Emu lift.
