Default Would effect Parts

Hi all

I was wondering if it was possible to change the original parts of my new Montero. Let me explain.

Actually the interior of my Montero is all in aluminum and metal look. This give a cold look and I don’t like that.

I was wondering if I could change this and buy would color parts. Refer to the following pics where I have circled the parts I’m looking for. Of course this is not my Montero but the look I want to give to my one:

For you information, I’ve asked from Mithsubishi Paris but they seems to be not sure about getting the wood colors parts to the door panels. They say that previously it was possible to get them separately but now they come with the entire door panel.

Also for you information, in the accessories catalog they say that the door wood part come with other wood parts which fit on the electric windows control buttons, but again now this is not correct. They says that now we can only get the small part which cover the window control buttons

Can someone here help me with this, where could I find these parts and what would be the ref numbers ?

Thanks a lot

Djeev1

Is this a Pajero or Montero? Is this in the USA or Europe? What trim is your truck?

We don't have this vehicle in the states anymore. Big mistake by Mitsu IMO. I need to replace our '02, and would have loved to get another one. Could you take some pics of yours for so I can see what they look like. Thanks. A few dealers said they might be returning, but nothing yet. For your dilemma, I would look into the aftermarket. Your interior is very close to what mine looks like, except in '02 they didn't have a GPS system. My LTD has cherry wood colored accents. Good luck.

Hi 7-UP BILL
Well I will take some pics for you of my Pajero 4. I'll get it this Saturday. There are some delays in getting some parts such as the rear spoiler or the spare wheel covers. For me this is one of the best 4x4. As soon as I get the vehicul I'll post some pics here. In the French market and even in the Jap this is one of the best 4x4 you can find, even better than a land cruiser. It is mistake of mithsu USA, why did they stop this in USA.

Hi Toofpik
This is an end 2007 model. All models of Paero 4 starting from 2007-2012 have the same look (ext and int). Only some functions defer.

I'm still trying to find these wood effect parts. It is not easy to find 2007-2012 vehiculs in Junk Yards they seems to be on roads (or off road ).

Anyway hope Mithsu FR will find a solution for me. Else I'll try another country, Germany, or Uk etc...

See you later

Whats up Djeev1,

I really dont know what its like in the other side of the world but in the case that I am not able to find a vehicle in a salvage yard, I hit up the local auto brookers to see it they have or are rebuilding or "parting out" a specific vehicle (Ive done this with my BMW and I have found a place that is dedicated to splicing late model BMWs)...

Warnning: This can get very time consuming... It involves many phone calls and many dead ends...

Hope this helps
