Default 0-60 time

I was browsing on the Internet and was looking at the rated 0-60 times on the 04 and 06 Outlander, and wow, there was quite a difference. The 04 was rated at 11.2 seconds, and the 06 was rated at 8.8 seconds. I didn't notice if they were both AWD, but the times wouldn't be that drastic for AWD to FWD would they? What kind of times are you guys posting, obviously your best stopwatch attempt will do just fine.
Thanks!!!!

that sounds terribly low, I know I haven't put that much work into mine and I can go 0-60 faster than 13-14 seconds. But then again what can't right? lol
i wanted a baseline to compare to, and also, if there is that drastic of a difference between 04 and 06, I need the secret.

both are 2.4 4g69 mivec. RPM's don't rise THAT quickly until 2500 RPM's, and then really kick up quickly at 3000-3500when the "second cam profile" kicks in. I have seen a noted improvement with the addition of the intake, which I finally finished and the ground wire kit/ voltage regulator. I love to hang the RPM's around 3K, the throttle response is optimized there...thus running synthetic oils with a lucas additive in the tank...gotta keep her lubed I wish there were a way to trick the computer to have the engine running on the alternate cam profile all the time, as I'm sure my local gas station would too.

LOL, from what I hear about the non mivec's I believe you have done some work! I test drove an 03 before my 04 and noticed the difference immediately.

well the 06's have stick now, so taking that into consideration, im sure launching times would be reduced...
