I have an 07 outlander and I'm getting a loud whiring noise while driving so i believe a wheel bearings gone bad. It's hard to tell where it's coming from but I believe it's the front driver side.

I've replaced several wheel bearings before but it's always nice to know what your getting into before you start.

Does anyone happen to have a pdf repair manual for replacing the wheel bearing or know of a good write up on it. I have done lots of searching and havn't been able to find one.

I know this thread is a little old but I've got an 09 that seems to have a wheel bearing issue as well. Is there anyone out there that can help with some directions on replacing wheel bearings?

Hi I was wondering how you made out replacing the wheel bearing. I have an 09 that I need to replace. I did one on a Saturn a few months ago and I had a very difficult time getting the shaft to separate from the hub.
