With the standard 18" X 7" rims the 235 x 60 x 18 will have the rolling radius larger by more than the legal 5% limit in the UK. the Speedo will also read too low (another legal problem), and make it hard to keep to the speed limits.
I use the standard 16" rims with cheap Michelin 217 x 70 x16 M&S lattitude tyres winter and summer whch make a much more comfortable ride and improve the MPG and carbon rating actually.

My Mitsubishi Outlander 2007 has tires 215/70/16,can i put 215/60/16 becuase i have a good deal.Thanks.

What is the tallest and widest tire you can put on 18 inch wheels for the 2008 Outlander?
