I recently purchased the Weathertech Cargo Liner for my 07 Mitsubishi outlander.

Upon installing it, I noticed that the liner didn't reach the edges completely in two spots. The liner is cut away exposing the carpet in those spots. All other areas of the liner completely reach the edges of the cargo area, covering all carpet.

I thought that the cargo liner would be like the floor mats in that they're cut exactly to the dimensions, thus covering all carpted area.

I included a couple pictures to help illustrate.

Does anyone else have this issue? Did I possibly receive the wrong liner? I left the box at the store, so I can't even refer to it.

The thumbnails are proper, but when you click them, they're upside down, not sure why. Sorry.

edit: I referred to the box and the product number and name match up to my vehicle, so I'm not sure why it doesn't fit flush.

 

I would send these pictures to weathertech and see what they say
I would not be too happy with that fitment..

 

That is not a fitment that WeatherTech would be happy with. They have excellent customer service, you should contact them and it might be as simple as they sent you the wrong model number.
