Default 07 Outlander XLS: Fog lights are not standard?

I am little concerned, my dealer hasn't responded to my question yet, so maybe someone can answer it here.

I got 07 Outlander XLS (navi, sun, luxury) and my understanding that fog lights are standard on this package (it also mentiones it here http://www.mitsubishicars.com/MMNA/j...&loc=en-us) But, according to the manual there should be a switch for fog lights next to headlights on/off and I don't have one. (I do see that fog lights are there)I've tried all the possible settings and they do not come on. Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance!

With the Luxury package you have the HID low beams. The fog lights have been replaced with DRL's on these. Therefore, no switch.

The fog lights are the DRL and go off automatically when you turn on the HID's. As far as I know, there is no way to turn them on with the HID's on, but if anyone knows, please post!!

You would need to rewire them completely. I dont know how detailed it would be but I imagine not easy. I also dont know the affects it would have on the rest of the lighting system.

If you get the kit, no problem on it working. If you have the XLS and have DRL's in the fog location already, you can get the switch and relay and reprogram the ETACS. Then you could have control over them.
