I have an Outie 2007 XLS with built in DVD player in the rear ceiling and wanted to know if anyone has managed to connect up external speakers to their built in DVD using the RCA jacks?
Is it possible to do this? If I connect external speakers using the RCA jacks from the DVD player and then power the speakers using the rear power socket would that be possible?

Anyone able to confirm if this is possible or got such a setup working?

Or better yet if the rear DVD audio could be pushed through the MMC so the sound comes out the speakers of the vehicle instead.. But I'm assuming they arent connected.
