Details :

- painted bumpers and sideskirts cost approx. 550 euros at a local friend's paint shop

- tail lights from the turbo version cost approx. 250 euros from the dealership (had no clue if they would fit my model )

- double din mp3 cost approx. 250 euros, plus FM shifter 50 euros, plus mod. dash kits 50 euros all from Ebay... and a whole damn lotta hard personal work!

Hope u like the result as much as I do

Looks cool! Nice work, how hard was it to fit the stereo in?

Man, you can't imagine ... The 2din stereo required cutting ofwith tools I can hardlymention touching thecar'sdash, pliers, knives ..bbrr ! It was a horrifying experience knowing that I could've damaged the car's interior any time. My wife could not believe her eyeswhen Iwas doing all these!@#$% things to our pretty little car.
Anyway, seriously, even I had second thoughts when the stereo arrived from Japan seeing it was 100% NOT plug-and-play. But the fact that everything I touch magically turns to gold (modest is my middle name), encouraged me to do the surgery ... and luckillyI got aperfect fit in the end.
In conclusion, if you have a single din slot dash as I did, put in a single din stereo. It can be done, you saw it, but the risk is much too high !!

I think half the fun is figuring out how to make stuff work - satisfaction comes when the result is even better than you expected!
