Default 2006 Mitsubishi outlande screen language

Hi

I bough a 2006 Mitsubishi outlander in Kenya, however I need to change the language settings from Japanese to English.

How do I do it?

You can get a English language MMCS to replace your Japanese MMCS. This is expensive.

Or

You can attempt to flash your Japanese MMCS into an English MMCS. Here are two threads that delve into that solution:

Replacing the Japanese MMCS with a new, English MMCS could cost you a couple thousand US dollars.

Examples:

2010 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander Navigation Unit | eBay

Mitsubishi OEM Navigation Unit - EVO X :: EVO X Interior Maintenance :: EVO X Maintenance :: Maintenance :: LancerShop.com | Lancer Performance Parts and Accessories

The alternatives are to find a used MMCS, install an aftermarket nav system, or hack your existing MMCS.
