2007 outlander - ASC TURN OFF BY ITSELF
for the outtie fan / owner .. has this happen to your 2007 / 2008 Outlander?[/align][/align]I parked my outlander under the hot sunny day .. few hours later ..[/align]back to the car .. turn on the key then "ASC OFF, SEVICE REQUIRED" show up in information pannel.[/align]this has been happend 4 times already ... please share your thought or has this ever happen to other outlander owner?[/align]

Never happen to me and I have my outie since last august and we had some pretty hit day's last summer and it never happen. I would definitly go the dealer If I was you might be something wrong with the tracktion control module.

The condition under which this is happening is not what is stated in the TSB (usually occurs at very cold temperatures), but the symptom is the same. There are 4 relays in the fusebox under the hood that are not rated for extreme temperatures/humidity, etc. Having them replaced with the new green ones might cure your problem.

the mitsubishi dealer contact me for the "error code" about the ASC which is related to the "Steering Angle Sensor".[/align]which the dealer said they never replace before[/align]

Got my outlander back ... the dealership replaced "Angular Velocity Sensor" for thos "ASC Turn OFF" issues ..[/align]According to service advicer .. they never need replace this part ...[/align]
