2007 outlander front plate
I got a 2007 outlander xls. The dealer said there is no front plate bracket and the car came with two black rubber things and 2 bronze color screws, is that how i put the front plate on? So far it appears that im going to have to drill two like 1/2 holes in my bumper and put the black rubber things in there, then put the plate on and screw it tight till the rubber pieces squish out and prevent it from pulling out. Anyone with experience on this. Sorry if this isnt 100% proper but im kinda in a rush and gtg. thanks.

RE: 2007 outlander front plate
So I drove by a mit dealer today and seen the outlanders on the lot had front license plate brackets. They werent using the black things provided with the outlander. I stopped in and asked how to get them and they have no listing for them and couldnt help me. So far I have been to the dealer in PA that I bought the car from, stopped at a NJ dealer and called maybe 2 others and no one is able to get this bracket. I have really been trying to put this front license plate on but I dont want to drill massive holes in my bumper if I can by some chance get this front plate bracket. Anyone on here know anything about this front bracket?

Sorry Antlip you might be SOL.
My outlander has holes drilled into the bumper for my license plate.
Your other option however is to go to either a junk yard or my 98 Nissan Altima had the front license plate holder installed.

It may or may not fit, try it before you buy it!

I used the black things that came with it. I drilled 2 holes in the bumper put the plate and the black things on. I then bought two bumpers for the back of the plate so it didnt hit the bumper and scratch it.
