I just had to replace the links. Test that by grabbing the a-pillar from the outside and try to rock it as hard as you can. If you can hear the clunking, get a friend to do it and start feeling around. If you do work on the links, I have a write up on it.

Yea, replaced both links with some moogs with grease fittings (nice upgrade).
I had to replace the front springs since they snapped and one of the old links was bad and had to be cut off so I figured might as well do both. ...But then a clunk manifested and I am guessing sway hopefully since its hitting under my feet when I test drove her car.
Only downside to fixing it is wifey no longer gets me as chauffeur.

check out lower control arms/lower ball joint too. the rear-most bushing failed and the arm was making contact with the crossmember. Replaced with moog, arms....one failed within 30k miles. I don't think anyone makes a good one with grease fittings.
