Default 2008 crash test Outlander FS by Govt.

Saw this on USA Gov. Auctions. This is a light hit drivers side, 2008 Outlander. The link below gets you to the main page, from there scroll down left column to Trucks, Truck Tractors and Ground Effects vehicles and click that link. You will see the description about half way down the page. There are 4 pictures of outside and interior. This vehicle is located in Ohio. If it wasn't so far I'd consider bidding myself as this is a complete vehicle and if you look the entire drive train is perfect, I'd guess 80% of all pieces are saleable/useable.

I'm surprised that they sell the crashed test vehicles. WhenI was a student, I did a work term at Transport Canada, in the defect investigation section,a couple of time I got to get some parts off some cars that theyhad crashed. And I asked the guys that worked there what they did with the cars after testing. He said that they kept them for a while and than they got crushed. Another interesting thing was that all the test cars were bought right of a dealers lot, in order to make sure that the manufacturer does give the car special handling.
