Default 2008 mistu, 3M or Garnish ? to protect paint ?

Hi
i have the 08, with mud OEM flap + 2 Mudflap over the front one, so 4 mudflap at the front, lol, but still i get ship. I also put side step, but did not realy help.

i will paint the 2 side, because its all sandblast, and start to rust,

So where, and what you suggest for protection
are those side garnish good enough ?

(340.48 CAD) at japanparts.com WOW, chichinn $$$

Or should i just buy a 3M film ? And where can i have one custom made for the outlander ?

Mistubishi give me some, but they are BLUE ! for a black car, and they dont stick anymore as i try to install it to often, lol.

So suggestion ?

I have the 3m protection I got it done at Zibart auto glass. Really happy with the result you can't see it and it protect very well. I have the 3m protection I got it done at Ziebart auto glass here in Ottawa On Canada. Really happy with the result you can't see it at all and it protect very well, they did the bottom of the doors from front to back and the fender arch in the rear door all the way to the door jam following the body line. I also have my hood done I really like that product. I have been using it on all my cars for years now.

European Outlanders had a redesigned sill cover fitted from around 2008.

It's significantly wider than the original fitted at lauch.

My 09 build car only has a thousand miles on it to date (mainly motorway & country driving where it's likely to pick up damage) but not a single shone chip to date. No mud flaps fitted BTW.

Not sure how much they cost however

Pic of mine attached.....

They don't have anything on their website it's a local auto glass and detailing shop here in Ottawa. Maybe try the 3m websites they might have something.

OEM 3M tape is usually a 3rd party installer hired by the dealer that comes in once a week. Just do a google search in your area for 3M installers.

Garnish piece would be an OEM part though. Can't help you there.
