2008 Outlander rear license plate lights

2008 Outlander rear license plate lights

How do you get the covers off to replace the rear license plate bulbs? I tried gently prying them, but no luck.

Thanks for the quick reply, and good information!

I just didn't want to break them. LEDs are in now. I should never have to do that again!

which LEDs did you get? i think the bulb is 2528? or something like that.. idr, but i bought a pair of LEDs and it was too big to let the cap covering the bulbs click back to place!

The license plate lights are 2825. I put led's in last year and they are super bright. helps when i'm backing up in the dark and the rearview camera is activated.
