Default 2009 Model Year Changes

The 2009 models have been hitting dealerships as of the last week or so. So far, I've been able to gather the following regarding changes:

1. Nav unit upgraded to 40GB supports VCD and MP3 CDs now along with DVDs.(You can rip Mp3 albums onto the HD now instead of only normal CDS, wav etc).Nav screen upgraded for glare issue. Backup camera tied to NAV unit with backup sensors on skid plate.
2. Control lighting has been changed to support better and sharper visibility (Don't know what color yet but the XLS model has the white and blue high contrast gauges like last years SE).
2. Rain-sensing wipers, auto dimming rearview mirror w/ compass and outside temp. display.
4. Awful plastic gear shifter changed to all chrome similar to JDM models. SST will come on 2010 model hopefully with the new face redesign.
5. Automatic HID Xenon headlights w/ dusk sensor and height adjustment(Deletes foglamps).
6. All weather floor mats as an accessory for US now, scuff plates, mudguards, body molding, rear protector plate.
7. Chrome side sill airdam on XLS models (like last years SE).
8. Flat type aero wiper blades.
9. All 9 speakers on RF system upgraded.
10. Only ES, SE and XLS models now XLS only with V6 ES and SE with 4cyl CVT - ES, SE come with optional 3rd row...STD on XLS.
11. 2 extra added power supply units.
12. 7 spoke (SE style) wheels std on XLS, chrome door handles, roof rack, V6 badges (carryover from 08).

If anyone wants to add things please feel free to do so. All of these options are a welcome change =) Talk about features. Mitsu has the competition beat by far.

stretch fit power steering belt on the V6.

Permanent DTCs stored in the PCM. (not a big deal for the normal consumer).

And I believe the 4 cylinder passes ULEV california emissions.

I figured they would carry over some of the '08 SE add ons to the '09 XLS. Only makes sense, since the XLS should be the all-out loaded model if wanted. Sounds great, kinda jelous.... guess I'll just have to keep "upgrading", which is fun to.

saw a couple commercials for the US 09 on tv. wasn't the real car but more like an animation. one was advertising it's 4wd and another it's suspension but looked like the front end is the same as the 07/8.
