Default 2009 Outlander Flashing Warning Dash Lights

Hi all. A bit long winded but, here goes...

Last night, after work, I started the car and tried to leave the carpark, only to find ALL the warning lights, service reminders, and ASC/OFF lights flashing on the dash. Also, as I attempted to take off, the slippery road indicator lit up and literally stopped the car in its tracks and wouldn't let me drive faster than a slow walk pace. I turned the car off, then back on and it then allowed me to drive home normally. It did it again today, driving home from Sydney. ALL the warning indicators were flashing on the dash. Pushing the ASC button does nothing. Trying to clear them via the INFO button does nothing. The car has done 51000km and has never had a problem. All scheduled services done. I am at a loss.

I thought so too....so I bought a new battery but I still have the engine check light on and the car still drives in slow motion, thinking I'm on a sheet of ice.

This all started after the last service a couple of weeks ago. Because the car had only done 51000km, they re-scheduled that service to the 60000km service because they told me it was going to be the final $250 flat rate service. My question is.....can a cars computer be "confused" simply because service types/times were changed??

No, no way.

I can find out what's wrong if you're local.

I always wonder why don't many forum users mention their location, that part of a forum profile was introduced for some reason.

Hi olslowpoke, I know this is an old thread, but were you able to isolate the cause of your problem? I'm getting this currently with my outlander. Battery and Alternator are both good.
