Hi,

First time posting. Recently my SO was in a fender bender and the rear marker light was shattered, and the rear quarter panel/bumper took a knock but didn't require replacement. I replaced the marker light no problem, but I noticed that the tabs keeping the bumper attached to the quarter panel popped out. The openings are visible along the bottom of the quarter panel (stock image attached).

The tabs are intact with some minor bending. I'm having trouble getting them into the slots however. Is there some trick to this? Or should I just be more persistent/patient. It's also a cold winter right now and I don't have a garage. I'm worried the cold temps could snap the tabs if I force them too much.

Sorry can';t help you. In the same delimma actually. Was it easy to remove the panel? Was it simply screws and tabs? I want to take replace the part out DIY as I was in a minor fender bender too.
