Unhappy 2010 2.4 L Outlander traction Control

Hi I own a 2010 XLS. I use it on relatively good tracks around my home town. The problem i have is with the AWC and Traction Control, as soon as I lift a wheel or worse two wheels diagonally its game over for forward movement.

Can anyone tell me how the traction control works, is there an upgrade to lower the speed at which it works? If not is there an Limted Slip diff which will fit the rear of the vehicle.

I am quite dissapointed especially when Subarus and Tiguans just sail on by with barely any effort.

thanks

Switch off the trac-control, should work. At least my minor testing with the test-drive unit proved Outtie was more capable in snowy off-road conditions than any of the competition in the price range. Including Tiguan, Forester, RAV4 and X-Trail. X-Trail and Forester might have been tougher if they'd have more torque.. I drove diesels.
