You're right. The quarter window and chrome trim are joined as one piece, for that reason it is necessary to change the entire window. . .

First time I have seen a ultrasonic sensor for the outlander, not available in Australia?

What does it do and where do you get it?

North American Market. At least!! Standard on Outlanders LS and XLS in Canada.

It will detect movement inside the car. leave window open and if you stick your arm inside, the alarm is triggered.

For purchase, I suspect a part sale in NA

Hmm, wonder if it can be added on older Outlander with some change to the alarm settings in Lexia? Although you would lose the ability to add a holder for sunglasses later on...

Default About ultrasonic sensor

In Japan it sold 5 accessories to improve the Security Alarm System and is a type of upgrade, but JAPANPARTS could not obtain information about the motion sensors still (for that reason I need the part number), because I want it to be just like the picture attached. This update consists of Harness kit, shock sensor, pitch sensor, inclination sensor, ultrasonic sensor, and can be purchased separately or together.

About the sunglasses holder, this can be installed ONLY in Outlanders without sunroof, I bought it and I could not install because there is not enough space

Thanks for the info jsrd, that's too bad I have a sunroof too. Did you manage to find info on these devices in the service manual? I couldn't find them for the Outlander/RVR/Lancer...perhaps they have some unique name...all I see if how the horn is activated and the ignition cutoff.
