Default 2010 Alarm Problem

Hi There,

We have a 2010 Outlander XLS. Now that its summer, we have started to notice that if we lock the outlander and leave any of the windows down a little or the sunroof open the alarm will tend to go off some times.

Has anybody else noticed this? It seems that if the windows are up and the sunroof closed we dont have any issues, and it doesn't even have to be a windy day

Thanks

It's the ultrasonic sensor attached to the headliner in front of the sunroof.
It detect air movement inside the cabin.

To avoid this pain, just left the Wiper controler up for 4/5 second, a beep will sound and you can now lock the door, Alarm sensor is in "off mode" until you unlock the door...

Hope this help !
