Default 2010 Outlander AUX on startup

Hi I just bought a 2010 Outlander and i bought a cable for the armrest that goes from RCA to mini-stereo in order to play my mp3 player and AUX is the only audio setting I use but whenever I start the car it reverts back to FM and then I have to switch to AUX each time. Is there anyway to set AUX as my default? The manual says that it should go to the last mode used so I'm confused.

I'm confused too...

Mine works as its supposed to, it stays on the last one used. I'm not sure why yours keeps reverting back.

Yours stays on AUX after you turn it off and go away for a little while?

I have this same problem. I would love to be able to get the radio to stay on Aux after I turn off the car and turn it back on.
Anyone else know anything about this?

I have the same issue, once restart engine, it goes back to FM if i turn on the stereo.

Here's what i see, our problem may be caused by the "...RCA to mini-stereo in order to play my mp3 player". Since we do NOT really have the OE USB under the armrest...so the mmcs won't recognize the last mode. We may need to install the USB kit/Bluetooth kit in order to achieve that.

Im only take a guess here, Bigrroberto, does your Outie has the OE USB already? and how about others who have the same problem? how do you guys use your USB devices?
