Has anybody gone to the dealer to get a warranty on their cv joint's. My 2010 ES is at 70,000 km and both the cv joint are shot. Never had to make a claim on anything warranty and I was wondering how it would go. Will the dealer claim abuse and refuse, are they a ware item that is not covered under warranty?

And the second thing I'm going to ask the dealer is the front windshield makes a cracking sound sometimes I think the glass is not installed properly, has anybody else heard of this happening before?

 

We have a 5yr/160K drivetrain warranty.
