Default 2010 Outlander GT and ambient lighting?

I just picked up my 2010 GT today and I cannot figure out the ambient lighting (LED diodes) located on the roof panel near the sunroof switch. How do you activate them? I've searched the manual everywhere, but can't find anything. If someone can advise that would be great.

Mine has a light on each side of the switch. They are the dome lights and you can push to turn them on. The three small pods (one facing front and two facing rear) are the sensors for the security system.

There is no such thing on the Outlander.

Imagine that. My salesman told me that the three "sensors" were mood lighting and I believed him. Apparently the 2011 Outlander Sport has some type of mood lighting feature and I guess my salesman got confused. That explains everything that they are security sensors and not LED's. Thanks.
