2010 Outlander XLS 3rd brakelight flicker

I have never noticed this before, as you have to actually pay attention and it needs to be dark.
Can you guys re-produce this and let me know if its happening to your vehicle as well:
1) It has to be dark
2) open the trunk and hold the lid open.
3) while the lid is open, pretend to open the trunk again (press handle)
4) while pressing the handle, (you will hear the mechanics working - releasing the lid) look at your 3rd brake light.
Mine will flicker/glim as you operate the handle on the trunk.
I find this rather strange. Could this be some sort of feedback or short??? Maybe someone more electrical inclined could help me out.
Thanks
Dennis

Engine running or not?
If engine is not running, (voltage at 12.8 volts) this is pretty normal as the door solenoid will take a lot of the little juice available in the door and LED don't like voltage drop at all since they are a digital device.
It might even show with the engine running (voltage at 13.6 volts)

Engine was off when I noticed it.
Well its good to know that this is a 'normal' behaviour.
